What’s important is what works for you and your learners. Whether your school is large or small, whether you work independently or as part of a network. It all takes time. Everyone will be starting from a different point and you might find that while you normally teach Year 5’s ( 4th Grade), you end up starting at Year 2 (1st Grade) of the scope and sequence so that it is at your children’s abilities.

So take your time, know your learners, and know your own pace.
